Challenge
Bridging the AI cultural gap within public administration, shifting from a purely technical view to a strategic and responsible perspective.
Description
As part of its digital transition journey, a major Italian Ministry identified the need to build internal awareness and accountability around artificial intelligence – not only as a tool, but as a transformative force for public services and decision-making processes.
Immanence designed and delivered a training program on AI ethics and governance for managers, public officials, and technical teams, aligning learning objectives with the principles of the EU AI Act. The program enabled a cultural shift: from a purely technical and compliance-driven approach to a strategic, values-based understanding, allowing participants to develop a shared language grounded in rights, fairness, and social impact.
